**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage and Security System Installer Technician to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of low voltage systems, including but not limited to security cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and data cabling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, program, and commission low voltage security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and intercom systems.
- Perform site surveys and prepare installation diagrams.
- Run, terminate, and test data and coaxial cables.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing security systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of installations, services, and repairs.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage and security system installation.
- Knowledge of IP network systems and familiarity with various security products.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
**Contract Details:**
- This is a contract position with the potential for long-term projects.

- Flexible schedule, but must be available for emergency calls and overtime as needed.
